Founded by Catherine Tipping, Newend creates jewellery that is inspired the ouroboros, an ancient symbol of a serpent eating its own tail. Used by both Western and Eastern cultures, the ouroboros means many different things to many different people. In this case, the ouroboros and its cyclical nature stand for adapting to change and going with the flow, respecting the good and the bad as equally important halves of one whole.
The Y-sleeper from Newend is a sterling silver prong like stud earring, with the hoop curling 3/4 of the way around the ear. A small V or prong sits atop the hoop, reminiscent of a cartoon bird in the sky. Finishing with a sterling silver rod and butterfly closure. Wear two as a set or one solo.
Please note the Y Sleeper is sold separately
