Since starting in 2012 Verner has stood as one of Australia's most venerated women's wear labels. Experimenting with design and shape, the garments play on gender, wearability and function. Ingrid Verner, previously from Melbourne label TV is known locally for using her designs to comment on social and cultural issues. 

The Gather Dress is a smock style shape made from 100% cotton. It features the Eyes of Ancestors print by artist Lisa Waup, 3/4 length sleeves, split opening with tie at neck, frilled drop waist, gathered frill trim and self-fabric belt.
