It didn't take long for Melbourne label Pageant to find a place in our hearts… After three years exclusively producing menswear, designers Amanda Cumming and Kate Reynolds released their first womenswear collection for SS13/14. Needless to say their super fresh, sugar sweet designs had us hooked!
Back for AW14 their collection 'Fiber Optics' is no different. Filled with a similarly dreamy colour palette, we're in love with their totally cool street-to-club aesthetic.
This collection see's the duo create a super sleek range inspired by references as far reaching as artist Cindy Sherman and cult film Terminator 2. Movement too has been a focus for the collection, with wave patterns signalling the pairs interest in ‘visual manipulation and the transmission and representation of movement.’
We're swooning over this seasons soft palette of greys and strawberry milk pink's and the store is currently filled with textured skivvies and maxi dresses, soft t-shirts with wobbly pink stripes and sweet polo necks and scrunchy skirts.
Designed and made in Melbourne with fabrics sourced from Japan, it's all about the subtle details… Think press-stud buttons, soft jersey dresses and wiggly, transformable silhouettes. We've pretty smitten with Pageant, and we bet you will be too.
